In times of crisis, humanity often turns to God. However, in an increasingly secular society, people may believe they need to forgo logic to believe in a Higher Power. The Urantia Book offers a perspective lacking in the world today—that we can know God through science.
We learn in college that Isaac Newton was a key figure in ushering in the Age of Enlightenment, where reason trumped faith. Intellectual thought and materialistic ideology overtook a belief in God. We are still living in the aftermath of that separation of reason and faith. However, this departure from God is unfounded, for the person seen as primarily responsible for the movement away from God secretly held a very Christian worldview. The greatest scientist of all time, Sir Isaac Newton, believed that there is no science without God. In this presentation, you'll learn about Newton's unpublished writings, discovered in the late 1930s, which change everything we once thought about the founder of modern science.
