Mustard Seed Grant—The Urantia Revelation Channel

Editor’s Note: Widi was a recipient of the second round of Mustard Seed Grant awards in 2025, his third. He shares his completed project below.

The Urantia Revelation Channel debuted on YouTube in 2023 with an initial grant from the Mustard Seed Grants Program (MSGP) and an additional Second Miler Grant from the Urantia Book Fellowship. Our videos explain The Urantia Book to younger readers using popular language and a tutorial format where we respond to questions from viewers.

Since 2023, we have published 50 documentary-style videos, most in Indonesian, since 90% of our viewers are local. With a current subscriber count of 2,062, the channel has received 143,000 views, totaling 14,200 hours of viewing time.

With input from the MSGP team, we have improved the scripting and video creation. By digging deeper into the text, we are able to present The Urantia Book as a superior text for today’s modern age, integrating the origins, histories, and destinies of the cosmos, the galaxies, our planet, mankind, and Jesus.  

We are grateful to Urantia Foundation’s MSGP. In addition to a new community of subscribers, we now have 15 advanced readers in our WhatsApp group, many of whom meet weekly on Zoom. Jacinta Rini and I are also facilitating Indonesian courses for Urantia Book International School (UBIS).
