Jay Peregrine Announces His Retirement as Executive Director of Urantia Foundation

On November 14, 2013, Jay Peregrine announced that he is retiring as executive director of Urantia Foundation. After fifteen years of dedicated service to the Foundation, Jay has decided to retire and spend more time with his family in Northern Michigan. Jay stated: "My decade as executive director of Urantia Foundation has been an exhilarating experience of teamwork and accomplishment. Books are being distributed globally, translations flourishing, 533 Diversey renovated, and a new generation of leaders are emerging. I retire knowing that the Foundation sits on firm ground and will achieve even higher levels of success in the coming years."
The board of trustees and staff will miss Jay. His insights and experience can never be replaced. We trust that, after a good rest and time with his family, Jay will continue working on many of his favorite Urantia Foundation projects. We owe Jay our soul-felt thanks for his years of service as executive director.
