2010 Year End Matching Fund Drive

Dear Friends of Urantia Foundation,

We are pleased to announce our 2010 Year End Matching Fund Campaign! Five generous donors have pledged $125,000 to match your donations, dollar-for-dollar, from now through December 31, 2010. This means that for every dollar you donate, two dollars will be raised. If we can bring in the total of $250,000 by December 31, Urantia Foundation will be able to cover the costs of all budgeted projects in 2011.

What projects will your donations fund?

• Reprinting Urantia Books in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
• Storing, shipping, and selling Urantia Books and the 14 translations around the world.
• Continuing all current translation projects.
• Developing software for revising and correcting all printed translations.
• Continuing the website development. It is only half-way finished and needs more translations and an improved search engine.
• Gaining information via social media to better develop outreach.
• Maintaining the Urantia Book Internet School website and developing a multiple language module for French, Portuguese, and Spanish.
• Preserving, maintaining, and repairing the historic building at 533 W Diversey Parkway. Serious electrical and plumbing problems were encountered during the recent remodel of the second floor kitchen. These problems almost certainly exist throughout the entire 102 year-old building.

Urantia Foundation accomplished much during 2010, and these achievements, including the publication of four new translations, happened because the dedicated readership donated generously. Please consider helping us accomplish the goals ahead and make a contribution towards our Matching Fund towards our Matching Fund.
