Dear Friends of The Urantia Book,

Thanks to your generosity in 2013, Urantia Foundation made progress distributing The Urantia Book and spreading its teachings globally. Our work is only possible with your support, time, and prayers.

We live in one of the most exhilarating times of material, social, and religious change in the history of the world. With such rapid transitions, people can easily lose their moral and spiritual way. Humanity needs a new road map that safely guides them from a feeling of isolation into a personal relationship with a loving God who rules a friendly universe. Long term, the teachings of The Urantia Book are exactly what the modern world needs because they will free people's minds, liberate their souls, and bring lasting peace and goodwill.

Like the first astronauts launched into space, you and I are pioneers of a new spiritual age destined to transform the world. Jesus said that the words he spoke would one day rule this very world. Thanks to you, the Urantia Revelation is making that happen.

How Your Support Makes Things Happen

Your generosity makes this work possible. Thank you for teaming up with Urantia Foundation in 2013. We invite you to review the following highlights of last year’s work and to read how your support is helping to spread the teachings of The Urantia Book throughout the world.

• Despite a struggling book industry, global distribution of The Urantia Book exceeded 17,000 copies.
• The Urantia Book Internet School offered 19 courses to 352 students from 35 countries, enabling the students to deepen and expand their understanding of The Urantia Book.
• Progress continues with translations and revisions thanks to the dedicated efforts of dozens of devoted readers. Translations are underway in Chinese, Czech, Farsi, Hebrew, Indonesian, and Japanese, eventually making The Urantia Book available in 23 languages.
• Outreach extended into Asia in 2013. Urantia Foundation co-sponsored a booth with the Urantia Book Fellowship at a book fair in South Korea. The Foundation also co-sponsored a book placement project with Urantia Association International in the Philippines.
• The historic birthplace of the Urantia Revelation was transformed with the completion of the third floor and coach house renovation.

Ralph and Betty's Story

Ralph and Betty Zehr in Ghana

In 1967, while working as missionaries deep in the African rainforest of Ghana, Dr. Richard Biek introduced us to The Urantia Book. What a life-changing experience! Our initial and most profound impressions were of Jesus himself―the vitality of his character, the vividness of his teachings, and his masterful appeal to followers young and old. This was just the beginning of a lifetime of adventure with these marvelous teachings that have added immeasurably to our lives and to the lives of our children and grandchildren.

Our adventure with The Urantia Book has led to interaction with truth seekers around the world though our involvement with Urantia Foundation and the Urantia Book Internet School (UBIS). Betty and I have both facilitated many courses and have the pleasure of serving on the UBIS Board.

Last year our son, Michael, a reader since age 10, offered to configure and adapt an enhanced educational platform for the school’s website that would allow UBIS to expand into many languages. His efforts resulted in a new and more user-friendly school in only six months. It gives Betty and me great pleasure to have served the Urantia community in this endeavor with our uniquely qualified son.

Our daughter, Joyce Anderson, a reader since age 11, enjoys organizing multi-generational gatherings that focus on topical themes from The Urantia Book. Long-term attendees have witnessed and participated in the spiritual growth of one another and the children, truly becoming a spiritual family.

The Urantia Revelation has permeated our lives creating bridges that span generations and nations. Indeed, “when man goes in partnership with God, great things may, and do, happen.”
