Mustard Seed Grants Program

Eligibility Requirements

Grant funds will be awarded to applicants that meet eligibility requirements. To be eligible, the prospective project must align with the purpose of Urantia Foundation as outlined in its Mission, Vision, Values, and Principal Object. Further, the eligible applicant must:

• Be a student of The Urantia Book
• Submit two letters of recommendation from members of the Urantia community
• Document the existence of matching funds of at least 25% of the total cost of the proposed project. Matching funds must be available at the time of application.
• Demonstrate a history of service (service resume) and experience completing similar projects

If you meet the above criteria, we welcome you to apply for a grant.

• Secondary Publications
• Music, Art, and Film
• Digital Outreach (Visual/Audio)
• Interfaith Projects
• Family-Based Programs
• Book Fairs

Grant Application

Before beginning the online application, we recommend preparing your answers and saving a document that you can cut and paste from. The online application should save your work for 30 days, but we cannot guarantee that your work will be saved if your computer shuts down, you lose internet connection, or other unforeseen events interfere. To help you prepare your application we have created the following documents:

1. A PDF with all application questions
2. A budget form to be used to format and submit the project budget

When you have compiled your answers and budget, click here to open the application form. 

Once the application is submitted, applicants will receive an email acknowledgment.

Grant applications will be accepted through 12:00 PM (noon) CST September 11, 2024.

Available Funding

For this round, Urantia Foundation expects to award funds totaling $70,000; individual applicants may request up to $10,000.
